I guess here at BC, the thing to do is blog. Everybody's got one.
Everyone may have one at St John's but it ain't as evident as it is here. Everyone's got it and everyone promotes it. Me, I don't know if I'ma promote sheeit, but ima hit this blog up here and there. If there is a wide array of an audience (highly improbable), then I'ma throw some links up, and make some musical suggestions and stuff.

Anyways,
Man, I'm kinda tight right now.
I was watching my Sox play the Rays, had the B fitted on, facin forward, clappin and cheerin with my boys. I really really really thought we had the series. But Saturday night, this obnoxious ass Mets fan comes in (I love the Mets, so don't get at me all you readers out there, lmao) and starts shitting on Red Sox fans. He also said we were gonna win the series easy. I didn't agree, and I realized this motherfucka didn't watch the series obviously, cuz he didn't call out the fact that we couldn't hit for the life of us. And Game 7 had this Garza monster pitching against us. This man almost made me cry, he was beating us effortlessly after Pedroia hit that first homer. Ridiculous man.

AH WELL,
I'm actually gonna say I'm rooting for the Rays after this one. It'd be cool to see a team like them make it. They deserve it, and they outplayed us. And I thought we were the best team in the playoffs, regardless of our lifeless offense.

Damn, I haven't hit this blog up in the ill minute! Shit has been mad busy over here, no bull. These days are getting easier to get through with all these sports teams winning. Boston is takin over and I'm lovin' it! But these Bruins just pissed me off! I'd entertain my ever so humongous audience with pictures but I need to do a paper.

Utter Disappointment

So its the morning after, and I wish I could take some kind of pill to get this pain out of my head. I feel like I played with the team. I feel like I coached the team. The only 2 words that can describe how I'm feeling are "utter" and "disappointment". What more can be said? You follow the only team you've ever followed along to what seemed like the best and most magical season, and you get trampled on.

So here goes.
The 2007 New England Patriots were hands down the best team I've ever seen put together. Before Super Bowl XLII. As a Bostonian, I should have known not to get ahead of myself. All of the past years I've been watching this team, whenever we hit the big one, I never would say anything guaranteeing a win. I'd do some trash talking, saying I thought the Pats would win, but I never at any point completely brushed off the opponent. Maybe that was a defense mechanism, maybe it was that I actually thought they had a chance, but this year, I didn't. I couldn't. To give a team that went 3-5 the benefit of the doubt seemed ridiculous when the team you were rooting for went undefeated. So I didn't, and the rest of Patriots Nation and I feel a pain that will be picking at us until the next superbowl win.

you know what tho? there's next year. and the next. So I'll see all the Giants fans later next year. Patriots Super Bowl XLIII champs aha

It is official! I know I'm posting to absolutely nobody but you know what...i care this much.
With every post I make here, I shall add on an album of choice! Just in case some lucky soul stumbles upon my superior blog and is in need of some music. I know, I know, you're welcome.

So I'm a somewhat humongous New England Patriots fan. Yeah, hate all you want. And upon watching this amazing team, and cheering them on all 16 games, I came across a few...haters, to say the least. Now I know with great success comes a large amount of hate and people wishing for you to fail, but I still wonder how someone could root against a quarterback-receiver tandem like Brady and Moss! I mean, the million and one football fans that hate Bill Billichick don't surprise me. He was held responsible for doing something that was illegal this season...(even though coaches still probably do that now...)
Come on, Tom Brady throws 50 TD passes. Randy Moss catches 23 of them. The team scores the most points in NFL history. On top of all that, there's the tiny little stat that is the patriots going 16-0. That means no losses. and it wasn't an easy schedule. There were teams that really sucked against them, and teams that played amazing against them, and in the end, they prevailed. And throughout the whole season, I have heard analysts say that they pick the Pats to win each game each week. Now, the Jaguars come up and everyone believes that the second worse team in the playoffs is gonna beat the them? I'll be honest, the Jaguars have a good chance to win, but I do not believe these guys have the firepower to keep up with the offense. Inexperienced corners will not be able to contain the receivers of the Pats. A decent QB in David Garrard is not enough to take on the Patriots 4th ranked defense, and they cannot win the game solely on running.

All in all, I'm taking The Nasty New England Patriots to beat the Jaguars 31 - 14.

Here's a treat. The Lost Boyz - Legal Drug Money. For all you noobs out here that think Mr. Cheeks was all about Lights, Camera, Action here's the group that he, the late Freaky Tah, DJ Spigg Nice and Pretty Lou were made up of. They released the album in 95, and it should have been critically acclaimed. I don't know if it was though. I was just a young bo. Such hits as Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless, Jeeps, Lex Coups, Bimaz and Benz, and Renee, the joint off Don't Be A Menace were all on this joint. Ill ass album, and definitely one of my favorites. have fun!

Now with my first post on this site I think shall come an upload.
It's not a new album by any means, but I think its pretty dope. If most of you haven't heard, there's this up and comer hailing from Brooklyn with a NY swag and a crazy flow named Skyzoo. Dude was all over the mixtape game and I hope he has a bright future. He's all over 9th Wonders beats and rips it over classic beats on his mixtapes. This first up is an album he did with 9th Wonder with 9th still at his best, and Skyzoo's smooth, relaxed, but shockingly speedy flow riding his elaborate beats.
